ăWrap Around MarkingăOne of the main jobs of a saddle square is to be able to mark both the face and the side of a board at the same time. with the square, you should be able to transfer a line all the way around a board and have it meet up with the original line. if you are making a tenon, this provides an easy way to mark the shoulder. The 1/2" deep reference edge is machined perfectly in line with the scale edge.
ăPrecision Parallel ScribingăOn the two outer edges of the blade, there are laser engraved lines every 1/32" , and the blade itself has precisely spaced 1.4MM holes drilled every 1/32". Stick a pencil in the hole, slide it along your workpiece and a perfectly spaced line accurately following the stock edge.
ăHumanized DesignăThe laser engraved scales are very clear and readable even for olders and poor lighting conditions. The blade edges are machined to a 45 degree bevel. That puts the calibrations right down on top of your work, eliminating parallax viewing error.
ăPremium QualityăThe Saddle T-Squares are milled from one solid block of aircraft grade aluminum on their state-of-the-art CNC milling centers. Every edge is chamfered, making the tool comfortable to work with and easy to hold. Even the tiny pencil holes have beveled edges to guide your pencil tip in place. The red anodized surface not only looks great, it reduces friction with your work.
ăEasy to StoreăPre-drilled round hole makes it easy to store on a Wall Control Pegboard. You won't lose it in the corner
ăThree VersionsăWe make the Saddle T-Squares in 4", 6", and 8" lengths. Each size is available individually.
